Carbonite ®, a leading provider of
online backup, was selected as a 2010
New England Innovation Award Winner by
The Smaller Business Association of New
England, Inc. (SBANE). Carbonite, one of
eight winners, demonstrated significant
growth and third-party validation to
stand out as a winner among 162
applicants.
"SBANE recognizes the intrinsic value
that innovation possesses in driving the
New England economy. Our Innovation
awards recognize those companies that
have transformed innovative ideas into a
product or service that delivers proven
value to a customer," said SBANE
President Robert Baker. "We are thrilled
to honor these 'game changers,'" he
said.
SBANE's New England Innovation Awards
recognize regional businesses with
compelling ideas or technology offerings
that clearly demonstrate a significant
benefit to end users or presents the
market with a new sector or fulfills an
industry gap. Carbonite President Keith
Cooper was presented the award at the
SBANE Gala Awards Dinner held on May 13.
